Kawaii Gal Colored by Shirekat Kawaii Gal Colored by Shirekat
Lineart & Shading (c) Artgerm

I felt like getting something productive done, but I didn't really, at the same time, you know? So this happened.

I really like the idea of making colors in clothing, or especially accessories not quite match. It's so hard to find something that completely goes in the real world, I thought I would bring that into the picture here. (This can also be seen in - haha self-promotion FTW)

So, while this started out as a portrait of one of my friends, well, I got really frustrated with her skin color because it's never the same in two pictures, I swear to God, but that's not the point. The point is, it evolved.... I guess? I don't exactly know what it is, but she would never in a million years wear something like this... unless I dressed her in it and told her it was for a cosplay.... maybe she would fall for that... MAYBE. :XD:

In other news, that necklace she's wearing is a mood necklace, I have decided. She's very calm... and I'm assuming she's counting on staying that way, for her to decide to wear it with that dress...

And the lips bug me, but I'm not exactly sure how to fix them. If you've got any suggestions, shoot. =)

I love the halftone shading! A whole lot. Is that a pattern brush, or if not, how did you do it?

Actually, I didn't. Artgerm did. Click on the link on the word "shading" and I'm sure she'd be happy to answer that question! :D
