Let me just take a moment to say that Fakir and Ahiru are the cutest couple ever!!! *giggles*
Ahem.
Yeah, I just colored it and added the background... which is completely half-assed, yes. But I'm proud of the shading job I did on Ahiru and Fakir. And that is Pike and Lilie in the background there, looking on in astonishment. O.O
All done in Adobe Photoshop Elements.
Anyway, here's my take on what happens next. ;D

It was late afternoon, and Ahiru was practicing. It was a good way to think. She let her mind wander freely. Alone in the silent practice room, there was little else to do. So Ahiru thought about Fakir. About how much she had come to care for him. Of course Lilie and Pike had noticed, but far from being any help, all they did was encourage her to “confess” so they could “comfort” her. Was it so impossible that Fakir cared for her in return?

She almost didn’t notice when she started to slip. When she realized she had fallen and was about to wonder why her head had not hit the floor, she looked up into Fakir’s eyes.

“Qua…” she stopped herself from quacking in surprise. “Fakir?” Ahiru said quietly, almost breathing the words.
Fakir did not answer, just looked down at her, making her uncomfortable. It was as if he was going to see through her any second, and see that she had been daydreaming about him when she had lost her balance. But his eyes did not have impatience or annoyance in them, as they usually did, when Fakir cared to turn them on her. They looked, if anything… sad. Not as intensely sad as Mytho’s, but then perhaps it wasn’t sadness at all. On second thought, if she didn’t know better, she would say it was longing.

“Wha-… Fakir…” Ahiru tried to speak but found herself tongue-tied. “I mean wh-mphhh.” She was cut off when Fakir leaned closer to her and gently pressed his lips against hers, only to withdraw them a moment later, leaving Ahiru completely speechless and blushing, eyes wide.

Outside, hiding and watching, Pike and Lilie looked at each other in astonishment. Ahiru hadn’t confessed at all! Fakir had confessed to her! What was the world coming to?! The two onlookers went completely unnoticed by the two dancers inside. Though, to give them credit, that wasn’t solely because Fakir and Ahiru had eyes only for each other. Pike and Lilie had taken pains to go unnoticed.

“I’m sorry,” Fakir said, his voice, as usual, unemotional, and his eyes cold and empty, as he helped her to her feet.

“You don’t have to be sorry!” Ahiru blurted before she could stop herself, earning a rare flash of surprise in Fakir’s eyes, and another one of his intense stares, once again seeming to bare a path straight to her soul.

Her blush deepened as he bent his head to catch her lips again with his, this time not breaking away so soon, and allowing her time to react and respond, putting her own pressure into the kiss.

“Dance with me,” said Fakir, already moving into the opening position of the pas de deux. Ahiru knew she didn’t need to answer. So she simply spread her arms and was swept away by Fakir, leading her in a dance that seemed charged with an energy that even Pike and Lilie saw from their perch outside the window. Both dancers were willing, and wanted to dance. It was their confession of love.

“You dance as well as Princess Tutu ever did,” Fakir murmured into Ahiru’s hair, holding her close in an embrace as the dance ended.

“You have always made me stronger,” Ahiru confessed.

In response to this, Fakir put his hands on her jaw, positioning her so he could kiss her again, this time more passionately.

“I wonder what they’re saying,” Lilie mused aloud, turning away.

“I don’t know…” said Pike, “But let’s ask her when she gets
back.”

Lilie frowned at the strange intensity in her friend’s voice, and turned to see what could have prompted it. She giggled when she saw Fakir’s arm around Ahiru’s waist as they walked together towards the door of the practice room.
“I don’t know,” said Lilie, giggling harder, “If she takes too long, the suspense just might
kill me.”

Ooooh... suggestive much?

EDIT:
Fixed a few lines and things that were bugging me. Actually, it was a bunch of little stuff... All in all, though, I'm still really proud of it, especially since it was my second attempt at coloring something.

EDIT 2:
Changed the background!!! My backgrounds have gotten a lot better since I did this one, and since I still liked the coloring and shading, I decided to make a background that would do it more justice. I like this one much more! Unfortunately, I had to take Pike and Lilie out of the background, but considering the angle of the shot, they could still potentially be spying.
